Este gajo old school que recuperei para o aquascaping é uma das minhas apostas futuras. Isto tudo faz parte de um plano engendrado, primeiro foi lançado o anzol quando ele foi à Petfestival e viu aqueles aquários lado a lado da 2/3°? edição do desafio. O home vinha directo de uma noite a bulir passar as manhãs junto a nós 😁 Primeira edição connosco e o nature prevaleceu, segunda edição e já se viu ali um pouco mais de aproximação ao hardscape trabalhado. Desta vez trabalhou melhor o layout... para o ano limpa isto 😁 (este ano não #deixemganharoTozé) Oh Abóbora, não se vê logo que o rapaz fez de propósito! Depois de terminar o desafio, vira o aquário e tem um layout diferente! 2D pá!!!🤣🤣🤣

Não é bem... Pai é quem cuida 😁 este ano sim vais saber o que custa mudar fraldas ao menino 🤣 Por falar em pai... devias mencionar quem foi o autor desta mudança! Assume! 😅😅 Mais uma vez, pai é quem cuida...😅😅😅 Também eu peguei nessa pedra mas depois desisti dela porque não estava a ver como ia resultar e também pensei na saúde das minhas costas 😁 Foste mais uma vítima do "Sim, mas..." Para o ano o gajo está proibido de mexer nos aquários dos outros! Ele que monte um tb! Não faças isso! Foste aconselhado e bem a colocar plantas de caule para preencher a parte de trás do aquário. O que podes fazer é não colocar espécies de coloração mais quente e sim usar apenas verdes. Tipo Rotala green ou Myriophyllum sp. guyana e assim evitar o "Brazilian style". Tens aqui um belíssima montagem, agora é afiar as tesouras e rezar para que tanta pedra não torne a agua demasiado dura para as plantas.

Porquê? Não gostaste de ter estado no desafio? Tal como os restantes, não aprecio muito aquela zona de praia a ocupar metade da frente. Talvez reduzindo um pouco , tens ali uma parte ao centro que de certeza a luz chega. E podes usar algum areão para dar algum detalhe nessa área. As rotalas plantaste apenas no canto esquerdo naquele v formado pelas rochas?

Ora cá estamos nós para mais uma edição do desafio de aquascaping aquariofilia.net! A sexta! 1 - Nome do Aquário Zaboeira Quem segue as minhas montagens já se habituou a que as batize com nomes de locais onde passo parte das minhas férias e onde está a maior parte da minha família. Desta vez homenagem a uma belíssima aldeia junto à barragem de Castelo de Bode que recomendo visitar. Além das imagens estonteantes da natureza, a aldeia maioritariamente com casas de xisto e uma praia fluvial são motivos extra para a visita. 2 - Data da montagem 28/09/2025 3 - Dimensões do aquário ILA 45x30x30 extra claro, colagens invisíveis. Empresa portuguesa que nos apoia desde a primeira edição com magníficos aquários. 4 - Equipamentos Instalados 4.1 - Filtro Aquael Versamax FZN1 filtro externo "cascata" 500 l/h 7,2 W para aquários de 20 a 100l (de acordo com o fabricante polaco). Vem equipado com duas esponjas que preenchem completamente o espaço interior, retirados para colocar material biológico já ciclado de outro aquário e um saco de Sera Siporax bio active e completei com lã filtrante. Depois e no ano passado ter trocado este filtro pelo Oase 115, este ano por falta de espaço para colocar o Oase atrás, voltei a este filtro. 4.2 - Termostato Sera aquarium heather 50W Uma novidade desta edição! Pela segunda vez conseguimos que todos os aquários do desafio tenham um termostato adequado desta vez graças ao apoio da Sera. Este modelo é bastante mais curto que os que foram usados na edição anterior de outra marca. E se há lema adequado aos nano aquarios é "size matters" 😁 4.3 - Iluminação/Foto-período Twinstar Light IV 450EC 28 leds laranja e 52 RGB 37 W, 1850 lumen, 8300 K. Foto período de 8h. Desta vez houve a possibilidade de usar o novo controlador por bluetooth que permite através de uma aplicação no telemóvel alterar o foto- periodo, intensidade de luz e criar um sunrise/sunset além de permitir programar isto por 25 dias, bom para quem no inicio quer manter a calha a metade do máximo. No meu caso, na primeira semana esteve a 50% durante 6 horas. 4.4 - Sistema de CO2 Strideways co2 reactor 8h/dia em extintor co2 2kg e difusor Twinstar 5 - Substratos & Hardscape 5.1 - Substrato 2HR Aquarist APT Feast Mais um ano, mais um substrato novo para testarmos! Desta vez, um solo tão poderoso que a marca aconselha o arranque via darkstart!!! 🙃 Claro que nós não fomos por este método, o desafio por si obriga que os aquários sejam plantados no dia da montagem. No entanto gostava de experimentar este processo um dia. Mas não quer dizer que vá correr mal, quer o distribuidor quer um lojista já usaram este solo e desde que se tenha cuidado em fazer múltiplas tpas nas primeiras duas semanas quer mantendo a iluminação a meio gás os resultados serão satisfatórios, a ver vamos como corre! É um desafio dentro do desafio 😁 Por baixo deste solo coloquei um pouco de Sera Gravel Lava que com a sua superfície porosa permite maior circulação de agua junto às raízes das plantas e também serve como um suporte para bactérias filtrantes. 5.3 - Hardscape Strideways Black Ryuoh Stone, Sera Mix Coarse Sera White fine Depois de na edição anterior ter usado também madeira, este ano voltei ao uso exclusivo de pedras, algo comum a muitos dos outros participantes do desafio, posso garantir que este ano os aquários estão pesados! 🤣 6 - Fertilização (fertilizantes utilizados e plano de fertilização) Apt 1 da 2HR 1ml por dia Fertilização sem nitratos nem fosfatos, adequada para uso nos primeiros 3 meses em montagens com substratos férteis que já incluem estes dois macronutrientes. Composto por sulfato de potássio, cloreto de potássio e sulfato de magnésio além dos micronutrientes necessários para um plantado sem algas 😁 Em complemento adiciono 3 ml/dia de 2HR APT fix para prevenir o aparecimento de algas Masterline carbo complemento de carbono liquido. E como tem glutaraldeído também actua como um anti-algas. 7 - Fauna N/A 8 - Plantas Segue a minha escolha para este ano: Hemianthus callitrichoides iv Elocharis sp minima iv Anubias pangolino Bucephalandra Maia iv Cryptocoryne parva iv Elocharis acicularis Rotala Yao Yai Higrophilla Pinnatifida Rotala rotundifolia hra Rotala rotundifolia Rotala Green Myriophyllum sp. guyana Desculpem o testamento, muito ficou ainda por dizer, segue as imagens do início: Hardscape finalizado, hora de recuperar forças 🤪 E depois disso, plantar, borrifar, plantar Depois, embalar e proteger para transportar. No final do dia já em casa e com agua e equipamentos: Agora é esperar que a natureza faça o seu trabalho e ir retocando as plantas conforme necessário.

Olá Marcel. Nunca tinha experimentado a UG mas já tinha visto o @Vasco Ferreira usa-la com sucesso em edições anteriores do desafio. E tal como tu estás a relatar, ela multou quase toda no início da montagem, a sua fama estava à altura. Quando já tinha desistido dela reparei que uma pequena porção tinha resistido. Pedi ao Vasco um reforço do aquário dele e foi assim que as coisas melhoraram. Falas em moitas mas não é verdade, elas se desenvolvem rasteiramente, o que te pode ter levado ao engano é as fotos não mostrarem o hardscape por baixo que lhes dá alguma altura. Quem também adorou esta planta foi o @ismael_figueira que ganhou um dos dois vasos que eu tinha pedido e usou no seu aquário vencedor.

Este ano apenas 9 participantes nacionais (já chegamos a ter mais de 20 em anos anteriores) mas a qualidade está lá. Desses 9 ter 2 no top 100 e um deles atingir o top 27 é motivo de orgulho! Deixo aqui as imagens finais

Olá Comunidade, mais um ano mais uma edição do Desafio de Aquascaping aquariofilia.net, vamos já na sexta edição. Tal como nas edições anteriores, vamos abrir as inscrições aqui para que os nossos estimados membros possam participar. As vagas são limitadas, e este ano apontamos para 16 participações, das quais uma boa parte já estão ocupadas.

Com estes dias de calor o termostato não anda aí a fazer nada! Aliás, até prejudica pois durante a noite mantém a água a 25°, logo quando o calor apertar começa a subir logo a partir dos 25°! Se o retirares o que vai acontecer é a água baixar a temperatura durante a noite e de dia já vai demorar mais tempo até atingir as temperaturas mais altas. Tal e qual na natureza, onde há amplitude térmica. É pena não ser possível regular os termóstatos para que não funcionem sempre à mesma temperatura as 24h. Se alguma empresa fizer isso, fica aqui a prova que a ideia era minha! 😆

Já fizemos 5 edições e em todas participei! Eu sei que é estranho mas comigo estão à vontade, eu adoro participar e para mim isso nunca foi problema, isto não é um concurso normal, é um pretexto para podermos fazer algo que possa ser visto por todos. E estando por dentro, acumulando a participação com a organização deixa os outros sem argumentos para falhar 😁. No que toca à avaliação, tarefa que não desejo de todo fazer, apenas convido os aquascapers internacionais e depois somo as suas pontuações! E para não haver constrangimentos da parte deles, as fotos vão apenas identificadas com um número, nunca com o autor. A participação do Ismael foi feita tal e qual as outras. Não estavamos era a contar ter mais de 15 participações mas pelos motivos já referidos ela veio e em boa hora! E se ganhou foi porque os juízes assim o decidiram. Mas prémios todos levaram! Ora vamos lá actualizar isto. Eu sei que já vou muito atrasado mas com os preparativos para a Petfestival, depois os dias intensos lá passados e o pós Petfestival com muita coisa por finalizar acabei por me desleixar aqui, as minhas desculpas. Ora por ordem cronológica, as últimas semanas pré Petfestival a preocupação foi tirar uma fotografia para ser avaliada pelos distintos juízes. Montei o estúdio fotografico à volta do aquário e começaram os disparos. Problema, as moitas tinham passado o tempo e estavam à tona da água... tirei umas fotos como estavam just in case e depois poda nelas e rezar para que numa semana ficassem prontas... Infelizmente as rotala green do lado esquerdo não tiveram crescimento suficiente e o efeito pretendido mas já não havia mais tempo para tirar a foto. E assim ficou: Fui enganado pela fraca qualidade do ecrã do meu computador onde fiz a edição e só quando abri a imagem no telemóvel percebi que estava um edição extrema... mas já estava tão farto de mexer nela que decidi manter e esperar que os juízes não reparassem... Esther Mous The picture is too bright. The use of plants is nice but the shape is not balanced, it's a bit hard to recognize the shape of the layout. Herry Rasio Great wood work.... Its seems to have a life of its own... I'm captivated Great work! Jhonny Vanegas it is a strong layout, strong colors and it shows technique growing plants. A little suggestion is try to use more reddish plants to balance the scape. My eyes are traped by the red focal point in the back. Well done Josh Sim Over edited. Go easy on your saturation and contrast adjustment. Scape wise, I do not know if this is a triangular composition – and if a judge do not understand what you are trying to do, it is harder to get higher point. The ottos photo bomb the picture LOL Correu bem 😅😅😅 Mas entretanto, toca de tentar apanhar o máximo de peixes e guardar o máximo de água em garrafões para poder depoia fazer o transporte até à fil para lá ficar os 4 dias a foto da praxe: ainda cravei o Vasco para dar umas podadas ao aquário enquanto lá estivemos. I do not know if this is done on purpose or unintentionally, the short depth of field (using bigger aperture in the camera setting) has created a dreamy effect and it is actually working in favor of this layout. The foreground hairgrass is looking a little unmatured and plant maintenance has to be improved. I like the natural feeling The layout however needs more time and attention. Josh Sim We usually do not trim/cut montedivensis (I assume) and Vallisneria this way – we either trim the whole leaf or leave it as it is, cutting them in the middle and leaving the cutting mark visible in the photo is just not the right way. Wood arrangement is pretty OK but plants maintenance has to be improved. Mike Senske nice aquascape , this aquascaper will get better with each new layout . Next time try to have more perspective and more presence of wood. Josh Sim Lowering your water level during photo session can give you a fuller and richer content in the final photo, better surface reflection too. Having a small triangular sand foreground like this is a big “no” from me – you either have a full sand foreground or fully carpeted foreground without sand. The grey background color makes the look a tiny bit 'dull'. The gravel path is a bit dirty in the front. Besides that i like the plant selection and the natural feeling in the back. Good work Josh Sim A very dramatic and futuristic looking layout. The bold selection and arrangement of rock is quite commendable – but I think there are too many “lines” being created in this layout and these “lines” are making this layout look unnatural and too “hard”, usually aquatic plants has the effect of softening our hardscape but not in this case. Perhaps some moss on the rock could achieve this softening effect. Mike Senske I like the bold rock work , the left rock needs a compliment stone behind it to create more depth @Carlos Carvalheira 77,2 Esther Mous The red plants are a bit overwhelming, the need a better more 'open' design line. There seems to be a bit algae between the Anubias roots on the left, better remove that before taking a contest photo. Herri Rasio Nice layout plant color and recovery Jhonny Vanegas colorful layout, good quality of plants, I would love to have more perspective but in overall it is a good scape. Josh Sim The anubias are probably too big for this layout and the red plants are looking too overpowering and monotonous. Plant integration has to be improved – currently the plants look like they exist individually. The use of plants was appropiated. The background is nice but could be even better doing a detailed trim in the back. Nice work. Josh SimI am happy to see that the creator did not put a path – I think this execution is way better, filling up the “path” with plants. Background stem plant management has to be improved. Small black pebbles at the foreground look like spilled soil. If we want to use small pebble to decorate the foreground, we have to make sure they are all closer to the hardscape and not scattered around the sand Mike Senske very nice nature scape , plant health could be better @Vasco Ferreira 85,4 Esther Mous🥉 Plants are lush and the choice of plants is very nice. A not so common layout and nice fish Herri Rasio Nice design... could use more plant types Jhonny Vanegas the use of wood was good, but the use of plants in excess cover the beautifulness of the wood. I like the quality of the plants but for my taste i preffer less plants species. Sometimes the less the better. Josh Sim I love the brave fish choice! Zebra Danio is usually not advisable as show fish for contest photo because they will look messy and they are not schooling fish. Plants selection is very good and the shadows in this layout are very effective and beautiful. However, in your case, although they are not schooling, but they made this layout look very interesting. Photograph quality and editing process (too much) could be better. Mike Senske 🥈great use of shadows and depth for a small aquarium , nice work @Filipe Serrenho 89 Esther Mous A very natural feeling. Well done! Herri Rasio🥉 The stone selection is unique and wonderfully complemented by the green plant choices. Jhonny Vanegas🥉 The use of small rocks in this layout are delicate.The quality of the plants are really good. For next time you coul trim more that way we can have a relaxing view. Good scape. Keep scaping. Josh Sim 🥇The mixture and integration of plants are executed perfectly. The combination of HC Cuba and mini hairgrass foreground is my favorite combination and I am happy to see it in this layout. The use of the tall stem plants at the left and right side adds a wild and water flowing effect which I love very much. Red plants are being used subtly but brilliantly, this is the right way to integrate red plants in a layout – just enough to feel its presence without overpowering the whole layout. Mike Senske 🥉lovely nature scape feeling @Bruno R. Carvalho 89 Esther Mous 🥇 I'm in love with the mix of green. It's a pity the fish seem a bit lost on the left. Herri Rasio🥈 Great plant growth, love the layers! Jhonny Vanegas 🥇 The use of small rocks in this layout are delicate.The quality of the plants are really good. For next time you coul trim more that way we can have a relaxing view. Good scape. Keep scaping. Josh Sim 🥉A beautiful and well balanced layout affected by 2 aspects: The photograph is poor quality and the fish are in disarray! The photo is looking very dull and lack of energy, the greyish background further compounded the problem and give a very gloomy impression. All this has made this nice layout look very flat and undesirable. We do not need a prefect schooling fish but at least choose a photo that has decent schooling fish, or if we cannot do that, try reducing the number of fish. One more point, the background stem plants (some kind of Mayaca?) is not contributing any positive effect to the final layout, instead, they made this layout look unmatured. Mike Senske amazing scape , A better quality photo would help @Ismael Figueira 90,6 Esther Mous 🥈The condition of the plants is very good and I love the the use of color Herri Rasio🥇 This view is great in terms of planting. I really like the partially exposed rock in the front right. Jhonny Vanegas 🥈Well done. The plants are healthy and i like the use of colors in this layout. It is a zen and relaxing design. Next time try not to put rocks close to the glass, it difficult to keep the area clean. Josh Sim 🥈This is the layout with the best plant condition, best photograph and creating the best mood. I can very well imagine other judges making this layout their favorite. However for me, I deduct some points for 2 reasons: The plants are not balance – plants on the left and right side should always achieve some harmonious effect by having the same plants, in this layout, I see stourogyne on the left and downoi on the right. Ludwigia Acuata on the left and Rotala Wallichi on the right. This is not a good execution The layout is divided too center (50%-50%) and the path is not slant enough. Fix these 2 points, this will be my favorite layout Mike Senske extremely well done , excellent plant health , great attention to detail , good fish selection
