Medidor Digital De Ph

Através da eBay comprei um medidor de PH digital, com as seguintes especificações:

 

Intervalo de medida: 0.00 - 14.00PH

Resolução: 0.01PH

Precisão: +-0.1PH

Temperatura de funcionamento: 0ºC - 50 ºC

Energia necessária: 4x0.15V(AG13) ou AG220

Dimensões: 60mmx55mmx23mm

Peso: 75g

 

 

O problema será calibrar

 

As instruções dizem o seguinte:

(vou colocar exactamente como está, para que não se perca precisão na tradução)

 

Operation

• Remove the protective cap of electrode.
  
• First rinse the electrode with distilled water, and suck it with filter-paper.
  
• Turn the meter on by pressing the key. Immerse the PH meter electrode in the solution to be tested.
  
• Wait for the reading to stabilize.
  
• After use, rinse the electrode with water to minimize contamination. Turn the meter on by pressing the key. Replace the protective cap after use.
  

PH Calibration

• Immerse the electrode in PH 6.86(under the temperature of 25ºC) standard buffer solution of phosphate, and gently shake it.
  
• Allow the reading to stabilize and with a small screwdriver turn the calibration trimmer inside the battery compartment until the display shows is corresponding the calibration solution.
  
• Immerse the electrode in ph4.01 or ph9.18 the standard buffer solution of borax.
  
• After one minute, until the buffer solution value is corresponding the measurement temperature is obtained.
  

Como podem ver é muito confuso (ou então sou eu que sou limitado).

Será que alguem me sabe dizer como proceder para meter o medidor a funcionar ?

 

A primeira coisa é calibrar o eléctrodo. Para isso precisas das soluções de calibração "buffers". Tens de ter uma de pH 6,86 -tampão fosfato e outra ou com pH 4 ou então de 9,18. Encontras na net à venda estas soluções. Pode ser que numa farmácia te as preparem. Ou então podes prepará-la se pesquisares um pouco a receita.

Sem teres o eléctrodo calibrado ele não te serve de nada.

Ok Nuno, assim que tiver mais informação faço post aqui, para já estou á procura de buffers a preços decentes para calibrar o aparelho. Em breve terei mais desenvolvimentos
