For the first time the Scaping contest of Vivarium is upgraded with international entries and cash prizes.
With renowned judges such as Christel Kasselmann, Dan Crawford, Graeme Edwards, Oliver Lucanus, Patrick Temmink and Erwin van Agtmael, the Vivarium Scaping contest consists of 7 different categories:
< 150 Liters Freshwater
151-400 Liters Freshwater
>401 Liters Freshwater
Biotopes all sizes
Saltwater all sizes
Paludariums
Terrariums
Thanks to prize sponsor ADA Holland, there are the following cash prizes made available:
EUR 250,- for Best of Show
EUR 125,- for the runner up
EUR 50,- for third place
Besides this, the winner of each category receives EUR 25,- cash prize. But even when not ranked as the highest, each contestant in the aquarium catoegories receives a package of Easylife products worth EUR 30,- as a thank for their entry.
The Easylife packages will only be handed out during Vivarium 2011 (www.vivariumbeurs.com), the cash prizes will be tranfered internationally.
